Join the ATHL team on your own or with friends.
We bring together players of all skill levels from around the world to play hockey, travel, and have a great time together.
You don’t need to put together your own team.
We will introduce you to your partners and help you get settled into the team.

01 Our history
It all started in Istanbul
In September 2026, several players signed up for an ATHL tournament without teams of their own. We brought them together as ATHL World Team.
The team was originally put together for a single trip. In its very first tournament, it made it to the championship game and took home silver.
After Istanbul, we decided to keep it going — bringing the ATHL team together for future tournaments and welcoming both new players and returning teammates.

02 how we play
Learn, try new things, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes
Everyone brings a different level of experience. Everyone turns the puck over or has a rough shift now and then. You won’t get criticized for it here: your teammates will support you and offer advice when you need it.
Ask questions, try something new, and build confidence on the ice. Whether you’re new to hockey or have been playing for years, there’s a place and a role for you on the team. We want everyone to get involved in the game and feel like part of the team.
We love to win, but a good team atmosphere and an enjoyable trip matter more to us than the final standings.

Traveling for a tournament is also a chance to meet people, explore a new city, and spend a few days in good company.
Between games, we get together for dinner, explore the city, and take part in the tournament’s social events. For us, spending time together off the ice is just as much a part of the trip as the games themselves.
04 Upcoming trip
June 23–27, 2027 · Barcelona, Spain
Next stop: Barcelona
We’re putting together the ATHL team for our trip to Spain. Each team will play four games, and the schedule also includes a yacht cruise and a closing celebration at a winery. Between games, there’ll be time to enjoy the beach and explore Barcelona.
